Adriana + Tyler’s Fairmont Chateau Whistler Wedding

Adriana and Tyler created a weekend full of connection and celebration for their Fairmont Chateau Whistler wedding. With guests flying in from all over the USA, their wedding wasn’t just a day – it was an experience.

They kicked off the festivities with a welcome party on the Woodlands Terrace. Guests gathered under the canopy, sharing cocktails and stories as the sun dipped behind the Coast Mountains. There’s something magical about the Fairmont. The towering hotel feels grand and iconic, yet the staff make it feel warm and intimate at the same time.

Their wedding day was held on the Mountain View Lawn. The space was transformed by Bliss Events with elegant florals, dark accents, and twinkling lights that came alive as dusk settled in. The Mountain View Lawn is one of my favourite spaces in Whistler. It’s tucked away and is fully private, yet it opens up to panoramic views of the Coast Mountains. It feels like a quiet moment of wilderness right at the edge of luxury.

Before their ceremony, Adriana and Tyler chose to carve out some time just for themselves. They shared a private first look, soaking in the moment they saw each other in their wedding attire for the first time. Afterward, they read their personal vows by the rushing water of Fitzsimmons Creek. The world faded away for those few minutes – it was just the two of them, grounding themselves in what this day was truly about.

Then came their wedding party – twelve of their best friends each – bringing energy, laughter, and so many inside jokes. Photographing them felt like stepping into a mini festival. The love and excitement in that group was infectious, and it set the perfect tone for the rest of the day.

They ended their weekend celebration with a brunch at The Wildflower. Stories were shared, hugs were plentiful, and guests lingered long after coffee was finished.
